FOR COMMUNITY

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Our project enhances food security, promotes social inclusion, creates training opportunities, and supports small business growth. This has a wide-reaching impact on our community.

We offer ‘on the job’ training for volunteers and ‘work for the dole’ participants, helping them gain skills and confidence. These skills can lead to job opportunities or even starting their own food production.

In an area affected by industry closures and limited job prospects, learning about food production and its health benefits can make a significant difference. We aim to inspire learning by providing hands-on training and mentoring in a safe environment, allowing people to learn at their own pace. Our goal is to offer casual employment within our garden, creating a stepping stone to other career opportunities for our participants.
